Mood Rings / Yellow Teeth
Great little dream pop band out of Atlanta
Bon Accord / True Delusion
Bon Accord is Michael Wright based in London, making amazing music. He hasn’t produced a single bad song or EP yet. This is from his newly same titled EP. Go check out his music.
Be Forest / Florence
I don’t know much about this band yet but I came across this album a couple of days ago, and so far it is pretty fantastic. A little New Wave + Dream Pop.
Lily of the Valley / One
A great little female dream pop band from Japan. From their Aquatree LP.
Blouse / Shadow
A really good new track from Blouse.
Little Chords / Valentine’s Day
Chad VanGaalen / Peace On The Rise
I’ve never listened too or heard of Chad until this morning, but I guarantee I’ll be listening from now on. What a stellar dream pop track. You can find more of him on his Bandcamp page, or on the Subpop label.
HOUNDSds / Alone
Really amazing dream pop band out of Brooklyn. Head over to their Bandcamp page and name your price for their EP (which is worth a good offer of money)
Cocteau Twins / Sugar Hiccup
Fraser had the undeniable ability to captivate you with her vocal style, yet without necessarily being able to discern any actual lyrics. I can’t say there are many bands that have ever existed which can pull that off.
Wye Oak / Two Small Deaths
I know everyone has been talking about this album a lot already, but I’m finally getting a chance to listen to it. I have to say I wasn’t that into their music with their past stuff, but wow, I am definitely a fan now. This album is phenomenal!
Dirty Beaches / Paris
A nice little poppy beat surrounded by a great atmosphere of sound. Coming from Vancouver’s Alex Zhang Hungtai.
(sorry for lack of posts lately: switching jobs and moving)
Telekinesis / Please Ask For Help
Guitar dripping with little hints at The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” which makes this song virtually irresistible for me. Looking forward to hearing the rest of “12 Desperate Straight Lines” which is out now on Merge Records. Fantastic song.
Papercuts / Do What You Will
Can’t wait for their new album March 1st! These guys are absolutely fantastic.
Silver Screen / Rockinghorse Road
Great little Dream Pop band on Clairecords.
